Glossary ​

The following terms are used by Heavana to describe certain system features and concepts. Let's familiarize ourselves with them.

Organization ​

A neutral, umbrella term for your business, company, non-profit etc.

Member ​

A user that belongs to your organization e.g. an employee.

Article ​

An umbrella term for a product or service that you offer to your customers e.g. a floral tribute or redressing of the decedent.

Plan ​

A collection of articles that you assemble ahead of time. They are used primarily by plan-based organizations that offer minimal customization.

Funeral ​

An umbrella term for a service. This can be a funeral with a burial or cremation. It can also be just a cremation without a formal funeral.

Task ​

Another way of describing something that has to be done e.g. a to-do.

Contact ​

An individual stored in your organization address book e.g. a priest.
