Calendar

Heavana combines certain date-based resources and makes them available for review in the form of a calendar.

This allows you to easily keep track of what activities are occurring within a particular day, week or month.

The following resources are tracked:

  1. Contacts (via follow-up date).
  2. Funerals (via collection, service and delivery dates).
  3. Tasks (via due date).

As you would expect, clicking on a calendar item or "block" will take you to its associated resource e.g. the contact or funeral.

You can also create custom events that live only in your calendar. They can be used to record anything from maintenance to vacation.

Views

To view your organization calendar... click here.

The calendar is available in three formats (day, week and month). Regardless of the view, each item that occurs within the respective time period will be shown.

Create an event

To create an event, click on the "Create event" link in the sidebar. You'll then need to complete the following fields in the resulting form:

  1. Assignee - search for an organization member by name.
  2. Title - the name of the event.
  3. Date - the date the event will take place on.
  4. Summary - any additional information needed for the event.

To set an event as "unassigned", simply leave the assignee field blank.

Edit an event

To edit an existing event, click on the desired event "block" within the calendar. Then, in the resulting pop-up form, revise the same set of fields that were described in the "Create an event" section.

Delete an event

To remove an event, click on the desired event "block" within the calendar. Then, in the resulting pop-up form, click the "Delete" button.

Then, confirm your decision to delete it.
