Conventions
Heavana adopts several rules and standards for dealing with certain aspects of its content e.g. phone numbers. These conventions are explained here and serve as a reference for you and your organization.
Phone numbers
Heavana uses the E-164 standard for recording and displaying phone numbers. This standard requires that a number be properly formatted.
Rules
- It must begin with a '+' symbol prefix.
- It must include the country code.
- It must exclude any leading zeros.
- It must include the area code.
- It must include all remaining digits.
- It must not include internal routing e.g. office extensions.
- It must not include any other characters e.g. spaces or hyphens.
