Files ​

Heavana allows you to upload files of any type and store them within your organization account.

In addition to being visible within the dedicated file management page, files can also be associated with the following resources:

1. Members.
2. Contacts.
3. Funerals.
4. Plots.

Each of these resource types contains a separate files page, which makes organizing and finding relevant files an easy activity.

The rest of this page covers the process of managing files from the perspective of the dedicated file management page, however the same procedures apply to the file management pages for resources.

Management ​

To manage the files in your organization... click here.

The file management page contains a table, which lists each of the files in your organization. You can filter and / or sort the results as needed.

Upload a file ​

To upload a file, click on the "Upload file" link in the sidebar.

Then, in the pop-up, click on the upload placeholder to select a file, or drag and drop a file onto it.

The file will be automatically uploaded and will display a progress bar to indicate its status. You will be redirected once the upload is done.

Edit a file ​

To edit an existing file, click the "Edit file" option in the context menu associated with the file. Then, in the pop-up form, change the name associated with the file.

Note that it is not possible to alter the uploaded file itself. Instead, you should delete it, and then re-upload a revised file.

Download a file ​

To download a file, click the "Download file" option in the context menu associated with the file. The file will then be downloaded.

Delete a file ​

To remove a file, click the "Delete file" option in the context menu associated with the file. Then, confirm your decision to delete it.
